Meet Lady Patricia

Lady Patricia Merthie brings an uplifting, fresh and innovative presence to the body of Christ. She is a strong, candid, honest, transparent, loving, and generous Woman of God. Her God given assignment is to bring Hope, Healing, and a Future to a devastated humanity. She wants to lead the hurting, the widow, and those that have gone through trauma or an evil day towards the love of Jesus Christ . She has a strong passion to witness people healed and delivered from all manners of sickness and disease. She desires for everyone to know they don’t have to accept a life of such hopelessness and defeat. She truly believes a cultivated relationship with Christ can heal the soul of a person, causing them to overcome anything. It is through this cultivated relationship, trust can be established with an all powerful God, creating a relentless fervor to persevere. She desires to encourage everyone to to finish their race and spread The Gospel of Jesus Christ World-Wide.

Lady Merthie’s spiritual foundation was cultivated at Harvest Church International Outreach, In Kansas City Missouri, where she served as a member for over 20 years under the Pastoral care of Dr. Steve and Dr. Donna Houpe. She is a highly experienced and trained leader. She has received training from Harvest Bible Institute: School of Leaders and Faith Bible College.  Lady Merthie served as a First and Second grade teacher at Faith Academy for ten years. 

Lady Patricia Merthie has always had a servant’s heart. Her most earnest desire is to please the Lord and live a life of His fullness. She has served the Lord through serving his people and she counts it a true privilege at all times. She sincerely loves people, and endeavors to share Jesus with everyone she meets, because she truly believes in the power of His Love. Her love is infectious and inviting. Family is important to her. She is a proud mother of three, a grandmother of 11, and a great grandmother of 4. She was married for 33 years until her husband, Estelle Leon Mozee Jr. , went to be with the Lord in 2009. As this was not the final chapter to her life, this very tragedy positioned her for a new manuscript that would dawn the pages of a new book. Two years later, Lady Patricia Mozee met Pastor Ronald W. Merthie on a God-appointed day and for the next eight years their lives together were filled with love, ministry, and purpose. Their marriage together was an answer to prayer considering they were both widows. 

Ever since Lady Merthie accepted the Lord, she has always understood the sacrifice of allowing her life to be an example for Him. She willingly accepted the call of assisting Pastor Merthie and running with the vision God had given him for New Life Word Center. Her yes to the vision helped cultivate her Administrative gifts that later led to Dr Merthie ordaining her as a licensed minister. Through Her desire to see women live fulfilled and purposeful lives, she birthed a strong women’s ministry. This ministry empowered women to understand they had purpose, gifts and callings. 

In 2019, her world was abruptly interrupted with the death of her husband, Pastor RW Merthie. Pastor Merthie’s transition to heaven caused her to assume the role of interim Pastor of New Life Word Center for a season. The experience of losing a second husband and the aftermath which followed left a trail of devastation that could have left her hopeless. Lady Patricia Merthie made a decision to continue her walk with the Lord and serve his people. This last experience birthed a deeper level of compassion and a greater desire to see God’s people walk in complete healing in every area of their lives.
